What Went Wrong?

Ok been away for a while been busy moving and such, but I'm back and going to keep updating on things as we go. Got a lot I want to talk about but I will start with what happened in the election.
Well it's pretty simple actually John McCain just didn't have it. What I mean is he ran an almost cowardly race. He was afraid to attack Obama on a lot of issues that could have really hurt him, instead like most the media he gave him a free pass. It amazed me that such a grizzled veteran of the political arena would cower under the pressure. Anyway the point is moot now and hind sight is 20/20 of course most of us saw it clearly then.
Next and most important McCain tried to out liberal a liberal. What that means is that on certain positions like global warming or campaign finance or the bailout, he was Identical to Obama. What he needed to understand was that no matter how liberal he was the left wing would not vote for him because he had an "R" by his name. His campaign manager needed to be fired. Also he didn't lose because of the droves of democrats he lost because his conservative base just stayed home. I grew so tired of hearing people say they were going to vote for McCain during the primary because they thought he was the only one who could win... Now we see that Mike Huckabee or Mitt Romney would have been tons better. I like Huckabee because of his ability to debate like no other and had some real conservative principles... I think we haven't seen the last of him.....
Ok I'll try to post another in a day or so I really want to get into global warming and how it's a huge lie...

What Now?

Well the election came and the election went. I did not get the result I hoped for, but we can't have it all I guess... One small victory from last night was that the Dems did not gain a super majority so they still have a easy path to get things passed but the Repubs can still fillibuster. I am worried about Obama but I will do all that I can to keep people informed on what is going on. Congrats to the Dems I hope Obama is the greatest president ever and I hope he doesn't go to far to the left. To all the conservatives it is time to fix the reupblican party and take it back to its roots of conservatism....

Home Stetch

Well we are down the home stretch of the election with only 1 day to go. It's funny how people keep saying that they voted for obama because they just voted against the republicans. I guess that really shows the ignorance of some. Instead of finding out the facts about the candidates and making an informed decision they choose to vote on the incumbent. Listen if we do vote in Obama then we will get everything we deserve. Also, understand that there will be no checks and balances. The democrats will control the house and senate. Anything that he wants to push through he will be able too. Socialized healthcare- more wellfare- higher taxes if you think that he will not raise your taxes then you are drinking the kool aid. On the other side there are people saying they are going to leave the united states and go somewhere else (if Obama wins). My question is where? United States is still the greatest country on the planet. We have to stay, we have to fight, we can't give up because something is not going our way. Let us just pray that the polls are wrong and that McCain can win. The polls have been wrong before. Pray hard tonight, please! Anything is possible through Christ, anything.

Am I Afraid?

Lots of people ask me if I am afraid of an Obama administration. My response to them is I am. Every day I get up and go look at my daughter sleeping in bed wondering what the future holds for her. There are things in life that I know I can protect her from like: monsters in her closet or the boogey monster, but can I protect her from our government? Years ago who would have thought that such a question would be asked of ourselves. There is a preacher in Wisconsin who was charged with child abuse for spanking his 12 yr old son for lying to his teacher. They charged him with child abuse!(story)The courts and our government have way to much involvement in our lives. Do you think that it will get better under an Obama administration? Do you think that government is the answer to all our problems? I heard a preacher say that the constitution still says "we the people" not "we the government", I could not agree more. Our government is trying its hardest to control the people of the United States. Obama wants more government handouts so the government can control us. Obama wants more government intervention in the home. This is "SOCIALISM" and Obama is a Socialist.

Obama Up by 4 in Zogby poll.

Obama Leads McCain 49-45% in latest Zogby poll. I know this looks bad, however remember that Bush was down by 3 or 4 pts going into the last day and wound up winning by that much. Lets hope for that this time.

Obama says first thing he will do if elected is......

Ok, Barack Obama says his first act as president would be to sign the FOCA or the freedom of choice act... In other words abortion will be legal whenever someone wants to have it. He goes on to say that he is not only going to win the election he is going to change the nation.... Change the nation? By allowing abortion? good to know where your priorities lie.. Killing Babies.
