Legalization of drugs.. Bad for America!

Since Ron Paul has come onto the national stage in the Republican debates with his less than sane views on a lot of things, some people have really taken to him, mostly because his views on economics, but other views as well. One of the big debates that Congressman Paul has stirred is whether or not drugs should be legalized, and then be managed by the states, taxed and so forth. I wanna throw some stats at you and by the end lets see if you think that legalizing drugs would help or hurt America.

One of the biggest arguments is that the drug war is not working and it is costing us a fortune to continue fighting it. Lets look at the stats shall we! In 1979 14.1% of Americans had used an illicit drug within the last 30 days. In 2006 that number had dropped to 8.3%. That same survey showed that 16.3% of teens ranging from 12-17 in 1979 used an illicit drug within the last 30 days. In 1992 that number had dropped to 5.3%. It did rise however to 10.2% in 1999 but dropped down to 9.2% in 2006 and the vast majority of those were marijuana users. In 1979 the number of kids ages 12-17 who had EVER used illicit drugs was at 32% by 1992 it dropped to an astounding 15.1%. During the Clinton years this problem was put on the back burner and it rose back to 23% by 1997. I think this shows that the war on drugs is working. People laughed at Nancy Reagans just say no initiative but it seems to have been helping along with strong leadership.

Now for some more stats.

In 2006 20.4 million people used an illicit drug. 3.8 million were addicted. That's a rate close to 20%. Cocaine users were addicted at a rate of about 75%. Heroine users were addicted at a rate of 95%! What if the same number of people who tried alcohol tried cocaine. In 2006 125 million had tried alcohol. What if that was cocaine? Instead of 1.7 million addicts we would have 94 million! What if it were heroin. Instead of 323,000 addicts it would be 117 million.

How many times do we here about drug addicts killing an innocent person or stealing to get more drugs? There are roughly 2 million people addicted to cocaine or heroin can you imagine the crime rate if there were 100 million. To say that we should legalize drugs is absurd. Drugs tend to interfere not only with the users but also people around them and also tax payers. Currently drug and alcohol users are 5 times more likely to file workers compensation. They incur 300% more healthcare costs, are 1/3 less productive and are absent from work 3 times more than non addicts. All this costs money! The total monetary cost to society is about 97 billion a year. Half of that falls on the gov't to pay. That is nearly 100 billion dollars wasted a year on only 10% of the population.

Phew it seems like forever since I've written anything on here! Sorry about that I have been so busy with my new business I just haven't had the time but I'm back hopefully.....

Anyway Israel has moved ships into the red sea in what appears to be preparation for an attack on Iran. Israel's prime minister is not saying much which leads me to believe that it will be within the upcoming months or even weeks. I am sure he wants to keep everything mum from our president who has shown his support for the radical muslim sect.

I am pretty nervous about this.. What makes me so nervous is that when Israel attacks Iran will Russia get involved? When the Russians get involved then who next? Can you say World War III? I hope that our coward of a president will stand with our long time allies... But who knows.....

This is way off the beaten path but something that has hounded me for some time. This is geared mainly to the teachers out there that have a myspace page or a facebook page or a blog. I see absolutely nothing wrong with teachers having the aforementioned but what really gets me is when teachers allow students to see their pages and they have less than desirable stuff on there. If you have pictures of you partying and acting wild and all that nonsense and you are a teacher you should not allow anyone but your friends see that page. I personally don't think you should have that stuff on the Internet but it's your choice. Teachers that allow students to see them in their party life lose all credibility as a teacher... I have recently seen it happen. It is a shame that people do not have the sense to not allow the public see that junk. Anyway just a random thought I needed to get off my chest.

HealthCare, Healthcare, HealthCare!

Some people may call me heartless or someone who just doesn't care about other people, but I take a hard line when it comes to health care and government assistance. First let me say that I believe that our elderly and military should be taken care by us. Military, I believe deserve to never have to pay for any kind of health insurance for the rest of their life. They have most definitely earned the right to be taken care of. Without them we wouldn't be free.

Now having cleared that out I am totally opposed to providing health care to people who are capable of working and earning it. This may seem harsh but, since when has it became a God given right to have free health care? Do I think we should turn these people away if they do not have health insurance? No. I think they have a right to health care just not free health care. Why should the burden of others have to fall on the tax payers? Are we not taxed enough to pay for the run away spending that our government has placed directly on our shoulders.

Our president recently had a meeting with Health Insurance companies to pretty much tell them they had to cut costs. On the surface this seemed like a great Idea, but think about how insurance companies will save money......... Got an answer yet? By denying claims or rationing health care. What I mean by rationing health care is they will be less apt to cover certain types of surgeries or medical procedures needed. Our privatized health care will be in control of the government bureaucrats. So they will be choosing what health care we need and who needs it.

We have the greatest health care system in the world and under the Obama administration he looks to control it. Here is the thing if we have our taxes raised the next administration can come in and lower them. They can change most policies that were enacted, but when you change the health insurance to where it encompasses everyone then it is near impossible to change it back. It seems that our president has his agenda and he doesn't care what we think.....

Over the years as I have immersed my self in the political spectrum I have seen some things that shocked me. It is amazing the thought process of some people who are supposed to represent our hopes and desires. Seriously I'm tired of our representatives taking it upon themselves to decide what they want is law and not what the people want.

Right now in congress there is a bill circulating. It is called the "The Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act." Ok first let me explain something... Our wonderful, educated, all knowing, liberal government decided a few years ago that we needed something to punish people who hurt or kill someone because of their race, religion(besides Christianity), or sexual orientation. For example if white person kills a black person, then it would be a hate crime because it would supposedly be racially motivated and it may be. However, if you kill someone intentionally is it not hate that drives you? Protecting yourself is a different manner, but we have laws on the books to punish murderers and rapist and loads of others. Does this mean that the laws we have are inadequate? Is murder not murder? Anyway just something to ponder, back to my original point.

In this bill that is being worked on they have inserted pedophiles into the ones who will be PROTECTED! Seriously what are the dems trying to do? Let me explain a little bit, Ill use myself as an example: I have a beautiful little girl who I love more than life itself, if a man rapes my little girl and I attack that man because of it I can be arrested and charged with a HATE CRIME! I am being dead serious. Republicans tried to get the pedophiles removed and add soldiers who come home from fighting who are spit on and hit with bottles and such. Guess what? The democrats refused to have the soldiers added and refused to remove pedophiles. I do not know what is driving these people other than sheer ignorance or the devil. I guess both.

Contact your senators NOW! Tell them that you want them to filibuster this!

Israel Calls up reservist. Preparing for War?

I've talked about it before how Israel would not stand for Iran becoming Nuclear. Now that they are pressing hard to achieve nuclear status the Israeli's are preparing to strike. I would dare to speculate that it is just a matter of time before Israel takes out Iranian nuclear facilities. Recently elected Prime Minister Netanyahu isn't one to sit around and wait to be attacked he will strike first.

Now my concern is how will the U.S. respond when they do attack. Will they take the cowardly road and denounce the attacks(Which is what I expect of Obama) or will they stand with their long time ally and support them. When I look and see how the U.S. wants the Israeli's to split their land and create two separate states I have a feeling our president will not stand with them. My major concern is that Iran is receiving weapons from Russia and are allied with them. Will Russia join the fight if Israel attacks. I think they would see this as an opportunity to remove the Israeli nation. Will then the U.S. respond and help Israel.. Scary to think about

Usually I would scoff at this as just another liberal idiot changing over for his own political gain which this is why he is doing this, but this has deeper more dangerous roots.

With the recent defeat of Jim Tedisco in the New York special election and with Al Franken looking like he will successfully steal the Minnesota election from Norm Coleman the dems are going to have that magic number of 60 in the senate which means the Republicans will not have the power to filibuster so anything that Obama and the dems want they will be able to push it through with no opposition.

We are entering dangerous waters what with everything that Obama has been able to get passed now and we have no fail safe to stop him till the 2010 elections. Even more scary times are ahead of us.

2010 Elections will be critical to try and get some seats back.... Start now getting the word out.

I am so sad today because two young 7 year old boys lost their lives today. It has stayed with me since I found out. I do not even know the boys names or the families but I am heartbroken for the families. It's times like this when everything else seems so unimportant. Please pray for the families. Thank you

Tax Day Tea Parties--- Nothing but right wing extremists and racists!

Well the tax day tea parties came and went. To much my sadness I was unable to attend, however sitting in my classroom I was there in heart and mind. I was able to use these tea parties as a teaching moment about the Boston tea party and to teach about why the people where there and what their purpose was. Of course I had to leave my personal feelings out of the conversation, which is exceptionally hard when you have kids who start rattling off something they heard their parents say or something they heard on T.V.

I was anxious to get home after school so I could turn my televison on and watch Fox news of course cause no other station was giving the parties much air time. My fear was that these were going to be rallies for just Republicans and that we were going to miss the larger point of the whole thing. I am a Republican by the way! My fears were set aside though as more information trickled in. Our current Republican leadership is spending lots of tax payer dollars too ie... 60% of the pork spending in Obama's budget was created by Dems. So that leaves us with 40%. Anyway when some of these Republicans who tried to hitch their wagon to the movement after they voted for the Tarp bill they were received with a chorous of boo's.

Even as a Republican I feel that these guys are justified in booing these people right out of office.

Now having said all that the far left has been trying to downplay the amount of people who showed up at these parties nationwide. The actual count will probably been unkown however estimates reach over a million in some cases. However the liberals would have you think that it was no more than a hundred thousand or so. Cnn and Msnbc were making jokes all day about the tax parties. Liberal congressman were calling the people who attended extremist right wing conservatives. Even some went as far as calling the people racist. Just FYI

The tea parties I feel were a success it got the Republicans scared and the Democrats doing the same old thing downplaying anything that would look like decension among the people that they want to control.

Did you know there are over 1.2million murders a year(in the U.S.) that they know who the killers are and yet they are unable to do anything about it. Are you sitting there appalled that the police or our wonderful government can't do anything about it. If a group of mercenaries were to kill 1.2 million people a year we would call it genocide and try our best to figure out the problem and how to stop it. However, if we call it abortion it's the woman's choice. Also did you know that Planned Parenthood recorded record assets last year. They also receive 349.6 million dollars a year from tax payers. Isn't that nice! 1.2 million abortions in the U.S. each year..... I just can't fathom that.

Here is a good comeback to those who think it's the woman's body and they should be able to do what they want with it.

Ask them if they think prostitution and illegal drugs should be made legal!

9 out of 10 times they will say NO!

Then your response will be I thought you said that it was their body and they should be able to do what they want with it.....

New Proposed Bill! Now you can sue the government or personal business for global warming!

Well Well Well, Nothing surprises me anymore and I mean nothing. This current congress and administration has done so many things that are extremely out of the ordinary that when something happens that I think is ridiculous I am not surprised.

Now a bill written by House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Henry A. Waxman, California Democrat, and Rep. Edward J. Markey, Massachusetts Democrat gives people the power to sue government agencies and businesses for causing them health problems because of global warming. So now if your an asthmatic you can sue because you feel that it was caused by the CO2 gasses in the atmosphere. Note* CO2 is not a a bad substance of course the Global Warming alarmist will tell you it's destroying the planet. Now people are going to be able to gain money from tax payers in lawsuits and use it as a tool to mandate governments to make policies to reduce CO2 gases at the taxpayers cost.

This is just another way that the left leaning Global Warming alarmist are able to force legislation down our throat. We cannot allow this to pass, but with the congress we have now I'd say it is a certainty.

2010 elections are upon us- lets make sure that the people running are people who will put a stop to frivolous legislation and actually give people their sovereignty back.

FDR Myth.. Not the savior of the econmoy

All throughout my History 1 & 2 and all my American history courses throughout college I kept hearing the same thing about Franklin Roosevelt, and I have to admit I believed what the teachers were saying. It amazes me how much I started to believe while sitting in a college classroom about politics. I never reversed on my morals, but when you have a history teacher that you think is so smart teaching you the liberal agenda day in and day out you start to give in. The thing that most teachers will tell you about FDR is how his policies got the U.S. out of the depression. It took me to actually sit down and study about his policies and the data that followed to realize that it just wasn't the truth.

There are so many policies that FDR instituted that we could go on forever listing them and the effects they caused. I will give a few examples:

1933 Agricultural adjustment act- restricted production to keep prices high. 'Excess' output was destroyed or dumped abroad. While millions of Americans were going hungry, the government plowed under 10 million acres of crops, slaughtered 6 million pigs, and left fruit to rot. Production of milk, fruits, and other products was cartelized to boost prices under 'marketing orders' begun in 1937." which means they made it illegal to increase production. The reason for this was to keep production low so prices high but what they did not anticipate was the number of workers who would not have jobs because production was cut. So how would anybody buy the products.

By the time FDR ran for re-election unemployment rate skyrocketed to 20%

New Deal policies made it harder for employers to hire people. FDR tripled federal taxes between 1933 and 1940. Social Security excise taxes on payrolls discouraged employers from hiring. New Deal securities laws made it harder for employers to raise capital. New Deal antitrust lawsuits harassed some 150 employers and whole industries. Whatever the merits of such policies might have been, it was bizarre to disrupt private sector employment when the median unemployment rate was 17 percent.

Class Warfare was implemented during this administration: It's the rich peoples fault and they should have to give more money to the poor people who don't have any. Sound familiar?

Roosevelt set up the biggest power grab in history with his new deal. He set up the biggest welfare state in history. And if not for world War II the economy would have continued to suffer.

Now our president Barack Obama is making FDR's new deal seem like a pittance. He has increased government control, he has increased the welfare state, he continues to want to punish the rich(who makes jobs). All for control of the people and in the name of saving the economy.

Henry Morgenthau, who served as Roosevelt's treasury secretary, admitted to a congressional committee in May 1939 (as quoted in the recent book New Deal or Raw Deal? by Burton Folsom, Jr.): "We are spending more money than we have ever spent before and it does not work.... We have never made good on our promises.... I say after eight years of this Administration we have just as much unemployment as when we started ... and an enormous debt to boot."

Mr. Obama if you want to look at history and see if what you are doing works it does not. Just see what Roosevelt's secretary of treasury had to say.

If we can not stop the policies being implemented NOW it will be hard to do so in the future. It's time to get out and vote these idiots out of office. Republicans and Democrats alike.

Shocker: 'Global warming' simply no longer happening

WASHINGTON – This may come as bad news for Al Gore.

The modest global warming trend has stopped – maybe even reversed itself.

And it's not just the record low temperatures experienced in much of the world this winter.

For at least the last five years, global temperatures have been falling, according to tracking performed by Roy Spencer, the climatologist formerly of NASA.

"Global warming" was going to bring more and more horrific hurricanes, climate change scientists and the politicians who subscribed to their theories said. But since 2005, only one major hurricane has struck North America.

A new study by Florida State University researcher Ryan Maue shows worldwide cyclone activity – typhoons, as well as hurricanes – has reached at least a 30-year low.

Two more studies – one by the Leibniz Institute of Marine Science and the Max Planck Institute of Meteorology in Germany and another by the University of Wisconsin – predict a slowing, or even a reversal of warming, for at least the next 10 to 20 years.

The Arctic sea ice has grown more on a percentage basis this winter than it has since 1979.

The number of polar bears has risen 25 percent in the past decade. There are 15,000 of them in the Arctic now, where 10 years ago there were 12,000.

"The most recent global warming that began in 1977 is over, and the Earth has entered a new phase of global cooling," says Don Easterbrook, professor of geology at Western Washington University in Bellingham, confidently. He maintains a switch in Pacific Ocean currents "assures about three decades of global cooling. New solar data showing unusual absence of sun spots and changes in the sun’s magnetic field suggest ... the present episode of global cooling may be more severe than the cooling of 1945 to 1977."

Climatologist Joe D’Aleo of the International Climate and Environmental Change Assessment Project, says new data "show that in five of the last seven decades since World War II, including this one, global temperatures have cooled while carbon dioxide has continued to rise."

"The data suggest cooling not warming in Earth's future," he says.

AIG Smoke Screen!

As I am sure you have heard that recently AIG Executives received over 165 million dollars in retension bonuses. Congress has been in a rage about this some telling the execs they needed to commit suicide. I understand the outrage over them receiving bonuses with the tax payer dollars. I have a lot I'd like say on this but there is something else I think you need to know about what happened behind the scenes while all this was forefront on everyones mind.
In the infinite wisdom of our new administration the United States Treasury decided to borrow 1 Trillion dollars from ourselves to pay our debts. The first question on most peoples mind is how can we borrow money from ourselves? easy we just print it!!!! So while everyone was distracted by the AIG debacle our treasury was printing tons of money... One of the biggest questions people ask is what does it matter if we just print money? Well here is the best analogy I can come with.... Let's say you are stuck on an Island with just a few people and lets say you are the only one who grows corn.... Since you are the only one who grows corn your product is worth a lot right... Ok lets say that everyone on that same island decides to grow corn now there is and influx of corn on the island and your corn is worth a lot less... The same way with money if there is more floating around the money already in circulation is worth less cause there is so much more to be had. This has happend before in 1923 in Weimar, Germany when the Germans decided to print more money to pay debts and it caused Hyperinflation, which means that the German Currency lost its value. So you would see people with barrels of money just to buy a loaf of bread. Also watch the stock market when the U.S. Treasury printed all that money the price of gold went up 50 dollars, because the investors know that the value of the U.S. dollar will go down because of the influx of new printed money... President Obama better start trying something else because his popularity is falling fast.......

Stimulus Loophole Gives 300,000 Jobs to Illegals

Well it has been a while since I have written anything and I missed a lot of good stuff to write about the truth is this stuff has really been making me sick. I have thought about just trying to ignore politics in general but it's like crack just can't seem to quit. Anyway lets talk about the savior of our economic system the "spendulous bill" that our wonderful democrats + three republicans passed to STIMULATE our economy. There is so much that I could talk about this like how it was loaded with pork but Obama claims there is none etc... But lets focus on all the jobs it's going to create for all the U.S. citizens. or not! In there infinite wisdom our Democratic leaders deleted from the bill that the employers do not have to use E-Verify which verifies if a worker is LEGAL or not. It is estimated that over 300,000 illegals will get these construction jobs etc. I really need someone to explain to me how this will stimulate the economy. The democrats think that the only way to get revenue is to tax people and yet these people pay zero tax(income tax). Then to top it off they send most of the money back to Mexico.... Way to go guys lets stimulate Mexico.... It is speculated that the dems removed this to placate the activist groups that want amnesty but are going to have to wait on it bit longer. It is time to stop pandering to the illegals and sure up our boarders and have true immigration reform. As Phil Valentine would say it is time to demagnetize the U.S.A.

Obama Plans to end anit-abortion programs

Barack Obama is Chomping at the bit to take office so he can do away with all the anti abortion programs the Bush administration has put in. One thing that he wants to go is "right of conscience" which allows doctors and or nurses to refuse to take part in an abortion due to religious beliefs. Doing away with this would require them to do abortions regardless how they feel about it. Then of course there is (F.O.C.A) freedom of choice act that would pretty much abolish any state or federal limitations on abortion. Right now it would not have the votes to pass but who knows what the future holds on that. Also, he wants to cut out funding for abstinence education and put it toward sex ed. funding. So instead of telling the kids the 100% fool proof way of not contracting an std is not having sex we are going to give them condoms and tell them to be careful. It is amazing how we can glorify sin so much that our schools now are teaching that it is ok to have sex out of wedlock just wear protection. And we wonder why our divorce rate is so high! Our country is slipping through our fingers and we are letting it happen... I will try to have my part two of Global Warming in a few days...

Israel preparing to strike Iran!

Israel is drawing up plans to attack Iran's nuclear facilities and is prepared to launch a strike without backing from the U.S., an Israeli newspaper reported Thursday.

Officials in the Israeli Defense Ministry told The Jerusalem Post that while they prefer to act in consultation with the U.S., they are preparing plans that would allow them to act alone.

"It is always better to coordinate," a senior Defense Ministry official told the newspaper. "But we are also preparing options that do not include coordination."

It would be difficult, but not impossible, to launch a strike against Iran without permission from the U.S., as the American Air Force controls the Iraqi airspace Israel's jets would have to enter on a bombing mission.

"There are a wide range of risks one takes when embarking on such an operation," a senior Israeli official told the Post.

Iran, the world's fourth-largest crude oil producer, maintains that its uranium enrichment activities are aimed at making fuel for a network of planned electricity-generating nuclear power plants and not for developing weapons.

However Israel intelligence sources say Iran has sufficient nuclear material to make an atomic bomb.

Last month, amid mounting fears in Israel that the U.S. was doing nothing to prevent Iran from becoming a nuclear power, Ehud Olmert, Israel's Prime Minister, warned President Bush the last chance of destroying Tehran’s nuclear bomb-making program was passing.

Iran dismisses the possibility of an Israeli strike.

"We think that regional and international developments and the complicated situation faced by Israel itself will not allow it to launch military strikes against other countries," Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Hassan Qashqavi said, according to the Press TV Web site.

"Israel makes threats to promote its psychological and media warfare," Qashqavi said.

A report, published in September in Britain's Guardian newspaper, claimed that Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert requested a green light to attack Iran in May but was refused by Bush.

Global Warming--- I mean cooling--- wait climate change?

Well as we have seen in the news, during t.v. ads, in the paper and all over the internet we are all going to die from GLOBAL WARMING! It is going to be real hard for me to dispute all the garbage that the global warming alarmist are spewing out, but I will hit some of the High points. One major point that the alarmist like to use is that the global temperature has risen 1 degree on average. Well I'm no scientist but when I first heard this argument I thought what was the big deal 1 whole degree. Then someone proceeded to tell me how ignorant I was that it was a big deal and so on and so forth. Then something amazing happend, the 1 degree temperature variance corrected itself. I've got a feeling you are not going to hear that from any of the the alarmist. I feel that should put that argument to bed, but you still have those who are die hard about it. Next, we have the polar Ice caps. This is where the enviornmentalist will play on your emotions and talk about how the polar Ice caps are melting and killing all the polar bears. Two things you need to know about this. 1. the polar Ice caps are now the 2nd largest they have been in recorded history. Probably will reach to number 1 shortly because they are growing 30% faster than normal. Of course if you watched NBC the other day you would have thought that the world was coming to an end because the Bolivian Ice caps are melting and there will be a water shortage and disease and death and the whole world will burn up... Sorry got excited there... They refuse to look at the facts about it. Number 2. There has been an increase in the polar bear population. Not going to go into great depth but how are the the polar bears be dying off if there is more of them. There is tons more that I will post later but my Planning period is almost over..... Here is an article on the freedom of choice act that Obama says he wants to pass. It is amazing that this law would "require" doctors to perform abortions regardless of their beliefs. Talk about taking rights away from people. This is socialism at it's finest... Lets take away the beliefs of some so the minority can have the rights they want. Ready for War?

New report came out today that Iran has the ability to make a nuclear missle. This is no suprise seeing how Iran has been working towards this for some time now. With the aid of the Russians the Iranians have the missiles to lauch the nuke.
With all this going on you better the believe the Israelis are not taking this news very well. They are poised to strike the Iranians nuclear facilities. This is almost a certainty to happen with the aggressive Iranian leadership. Iran has wanted to wipe the Jews off the map for some time and the Israeli's have all the right to stop them and should. With this attack we will probably see the involvement of the Russians and it could spiral out of control from there.

Ok been away for a while been busy moving and such, but I'm back and going to keep updating on things as we go. Got a lot I want to talk about but I will start with what happened in the election.
Well it's pretty simple actually John McCain just didn't have it. What I mean is he ran an almost cowardly race. He was afraid to attack Obama on a lot of issues that could have really hurt him, instead like most the media he gave him a free pass. It amazed me that such a grizzled veteran of the political arena would cower under the pressure. Anyway the point is moot now and hind sight is 20/20 of course most of us saw it clearly then.
Next and most important McCain tried to out liberal a liberal. What that means is that on certain positions like global warming or campaign finance or the bailout, he was Identical to Obama. What he needed to understand was that no matter how liberal he was the left wing would not vote for him because he had an "R" by his name. His campaign manager needed to be fired. Also he didn't lose because of the droves of democrats he lost because his conservative base just stayed home. I grew so tired of hearing people say they were going to vote for McCain during the primary because they thought he was the only one who could win... Now we see that Mike Huckabee or Mitt Romney would have been tons better. I like Huckabee because of his ability to debate like no other and had some real conservative principles... I think we haven't seen the last of him.....

Well the election came and the election went. I did not get the result I hoped for, but we can't have it all I guess... One small victory from last night was that the Dems did not gain a super majority so they still have a easy path to get things passed but the Repubs can still fillibuster. I am worried about Obama but I will do all that I can to keep people informed on what is going on. Congrats to the Dems I hope Obama is the greatest president ever and I hope he doesn't go to far to the left. To all the conservatives it is time to fix the reupblican party and take it back to its roots of conservatism....

Well we are down the home stretch of the election with only 1 day to go. It's funny how people keep saying that they voted for obama because they just voted against the republicans. I guess that really shows the ignorance of some. Instead of finding out the facts about the candidates and making an informed decision they choose to vote on the incumbent. Listen if we do vote in Obama then we will get everything we deserve. Also, understand that there will be no checks and balances. The democrats will control the house and senate. Anything that he wants to push through he will be able too. Socialized healthcare- more wellfare- higher taxes if you think that he will not raise your taxes then you are drinking the kool aid. On the other side there are people saying they are going to leave the united states and go somewhere else (if Obama wins). My question is where? United States is still the greatest country on the planet. We have to stay, we have to fight, we can't give up because something is not going our way. Let us just pray that the polls are wrong and that McCain can win. The polls have been wrong before. Pray hard tonight, please! Anything is possible through Christ, anything.

Lots of people ask me if I am afraid of an Obama administration. My response to them is I am. Every day I get up and go look at my daughter sleeping in bed wondering what the future holds for her. There are things in life that I know I can protect her from like: monsters in her closet or the boogey monster, but can I protect her from our government? Years ago who would have thought that such a question would be asked of ourselves. There is a preacher in Wisconsin who was charged with child abuse for spanking his 12 yr old son for lying to his teacher. They charged him with child abuse!(story)The courts and our government have way to much involvement in our lives. Do you think that it will get better under an Obama administration? Do you think that government is the answer to all our problems? I heard a preacher say that the constitution still says "we the people" not "we the government", I could not agree more. Our government is trying its hardest to control the people of the United States. Obama wants more government handouts so the government can control us. Obama wants more government intervention in the home. This is "SOCIALISM" and Obama is a Socialist.

Ok let us start out that Obama saying that he will cut taxes on only people making 250 thousand plus is a flat out lie. First and formost lets look at the small business who fall into this category... Well the business may do that much business but the owners that net only around 30-40 thousand a year will have a tax increase... HMMM.... Obama also is going to raise taxes on Capital gaines.... Obama made the statement: "what would cutting taxes on capital gaines taxes help? No one will have a gain in this economy!" Genius! Some will have gains first off and guess what happens if you cut the capital gains taxes? PEOPLE WILL INVEST MORE!!!!!!!! But lets raise taxes and see what happens.... Ok finally here is an explanation of Reaganomics which Ronald Reagan made popular when he took office in 1980. First a little background, when Ronald Reagan took office after Jimmy Carter single handedly ran the economy in the toilet by his "Windfall Profit taxes" hmmm does that sound familiar...... Ah yes the same thing that Barack Obama wants to do.... That worked real well for Carter... Anyway Reagan came to office with a huge problem how to get the economy stimulated again... Hear are four of his main Ideas:

1.reduce the growth of government spending,
2.reduce marginal tax rates on income from labor and capital,
3.reduce government regulation of the economy,
4.control the money supply to reduce inflation

Reaganomics is also known as trickle down economics. Trickle down economics simply means that if you cut taxes on the "businesses" they are more apt to create new jobs because they have the money too. Hmmm all the democrats keep screaming that we need to raise taxes on the business and the wealthy because they have more and they should give lots more. Have you ever worked for someone who makes 20 or 30 thousand dollars a year? I didnt think so. You see democrats like to demonize the wealthy but they are the life blood of our economy hence they create jobs. One thing I want you to notice about the democrats they dare not speak bad about Reagan because he was and is considered the greatest president ever"even by most liberals" but yet they want to grow government and tax, tax, tax. Oh just the wealthy of course...Right.. One thing that the dems will try to say is that Reagan ran a huge deficit.. Well lets see... He submitted his budget to congress(democrat controlled) and they denied it.... added their pork to it and then passed it... Good job guys.... See if we could have a president like Reagan who would not be afraid to stand up to the morons on capitol hill they could turn this economy around. I'm afraid neither of our candidates will do this....

Hmmm, it's amazing that we were about to find some real bad stuff on this man and he was detained. Cause for concern? Well everyone the massive bailout package that was going to save America has failed in congress. I'm glad to see that congress sometimes votes for what the people want, if only once it was nice to see. I'm sure there is lots of activity going on to get another bill ready for a vote and I dare say that it will probably pass, so contact your memebers of congress and let them know that we don't want to be bailed out by the government. Bail Out- Debate

In the past few weeks we have been swamped in the news about the $7billion bailout plan that our congress has decided that we need to save wall street. First, let me say that I do not support the bailout. However, despite what most of the liberals will say MOST republicans are opposed to the plan. Why do you think it is having trouble passing? Republicans are more for letting the market decide. This is called a free market economy. What our government wants to do is very socialist in its nature. Socialism is when your government controls the basic means of production. That definition is basic and easy to understand. However, it does have a larger meaning and can be harder to detect. Governments will gain control through the auspices of helping the little people. Democrats are notorious for wanting socialist control. One big "entitlement" program that Dems want to gain control through is government run health care. Two major points of government run health care: 1. If you think the national debt is bad now. It will be more than astronomical if this ever passes. 2. Look at Canada and Britain they both have socialized health care and you have to wait for over six months to get a doctor's appointment. People are dying in emergency room waiting areas because all the beds are full. It has crippled their economies. Why don't we just look at those to see that it is a failure.
Ok ok! I know I chased a rabbit. Lets now look at the debate. I really don't have a lot to say other than I wasn't impressed with either. McCain started out slow but when he hit his stride I feel he took it over. The major issue I feel that Obama dropped the ball on was the economy and the war. (big suprise I know) He just doesn't get it. As far as McCain I agree with something he said about the economy's fundamentals:They are strong: which means that the core of the economy is strong and will outlast this so called crisis!

Obama can tout his religion all he wants, but when it comes to believing in life he chooses to believe in "choice. Obama says " It's a woman's right to "choose" whether or not she wants to have that baby. Obama has voted 3 times against the partial birth abortion ban. 3 times! He also voted against giving a baby that survives a botched abortion emergency health care. My question to him is if life doesn't begin when the baby takes a breath, then when does it? NEA(National Education Association) is a firm believer in "Choice". That is one of the main reasons that I will never join NEA. (That and unions have far out lived their usefulness) NEA backs Obama(no suprise there) they have backed the democratic candidate for as long as I can remember. I am going to tell a story about a nurse who was assigned to an abortion clinic. The nurse was whole heartedly in favor of "Choice" her recollection will horrify you. If it doesn't you need to examine yourself. "I stood at the doctor's side and watched him perform a patial birth abortion on a woman who was six months pregnant. The baby's heartbeat was clearly visible on the ultrasound screen. The doctor delivered the baby's body and arms, everything but its head. The baby's body was moving. His little fingers were clasping together. He was kicking his feet. The doctor took a pair of scissors and inserted them into the back of the baby's head, and the baby's arms jeked out in a flinch, a startle reaction, like a baby does when he thinks that he might fall. Then the doctor opened the scissors up. Then he stuck the high powered suction tube into the hole and sucked the baby's brains out. Now the baby was completely limp. I never went back to the clinic. But I am still haunted by the face of that little boy. It was the most perfect, angelic face I have ever seen".(The conservative Handbook). The man that supports this is running for President of the United States. His name is Barak Obama... You have the choice of who you vote for but I say this if you are a christian how can you vote for someone who supports such an attrocity.....

Well, it's that crazy election time again, when people start losing there minds wondering," who am I going to vote for?" For some, this answer is one that is difficult to answer. For me, it is simple. I started this blog because I am fed up with listening to people who have no idea what they are talking about. Before I can continue I will save you the suspense, yes, I am voting for John McCain for President of the United States of America.

First I would like to point to the fact that Obama has little to no experience. Look at the facts. He has been in the senate for 2 1/2 years and has been busy for the last year and half to two years........RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT! Seriously, don't you have to accomplish something before you run for president? Apparently not!
